So my mom’s friends from high school came over,
My mom hasn’t seen her in 35 years, & while I was eating, I was listening to their conversation about back when they were in school.
Apparently, even years way back then and in the Philippines, you hear stories about the “popular people” and phrases like “oh, he’ll never be in to me. I’m invisible to him.” I was like “whoa, pretty much everything they’re saying seems like it came from modern day movies.” I guess our generations aren’t that different after all.
